This part of the site holds the software listings. They are grouped in categories e.g. web servers with an introduction on the main page and the actual programs descriptions accessible through the menus on the side.
This first version of the site holds a comprehensive listing of web servers (there is a lot more than Apache and IIS available) and web proxies, software that sits between then wb server and the internet and provides functions like load balancing and caching.
There is also listings of SOAP engines and a shorter list of message brokers. the soap list has subcategories, the programs are grouped according to program language and/or project they belong to.
